Jan. 23, 1956 - Spiritual Gift

The Bible clearly tells us that God gives believers spiritual gifts. Some are healing. Others are casting out demons. The Bible also tells us that the end of the world is new, and many will perform miracles in Jesus' name and cause people to follow them, and we need to be careful in discerning the Spirit of God. About half a year ago, I heard that Dr. Billy Graham was going to come to Hong Kong to evangelize. As that date approaches, he is a servant of God that all the churches around the world recognize. Today I heard of an evangelist preaching in the Hong Kong theater with healing and miracles. According to Mrs. Li, the entire place was filled with people. And some were looking for healing. Due to the constraint of time, they performed healing on two mute and one deaf . The mute was able to speak right there, and the deaf could hear. Therefore, praise the Lord, I hope it is the work of the Lord. I missed today's meeting but I would certainly like to try to attend and see tomorow, and I'll be able to tell whether it is from the Lord or from man.

I spent the whole morning trying to bring someone to a Youth Service Facility. In the afternoon, there was a 1 hour English lesson,half an hour singing lesson, half an hour piano lesson. In the evening, I went to a Billy Graham evangelism training class. And all other times were lost. I spent 2 hours chatting with a lady name Cheng Hui Ling.
