A group of cute, lovely children
Playing together at Mrs. Zhang’s home makes me like part of the family. Often, I play with the young brothers and sisters. Today was the first time I went at night. When they saw me, they asked why I came so late. They said Mama say why you could not come during the day.
Several children, innocent, unaffected, lively and amusing sit around me. They talk and laugh. To be honest, I don’t know how to express the happiness I feel. Originally, I wanted to participate in Ph.D. Zeng Pei Lix’ singing class, but they won’t let me go! I wound up taking them with me. I feel like a child too when I’m with them. Later, Jing Yun got out some English letters that I had written to her. Even though she is a child, she was showing me mistakes I had made. Her English level is already very good and she is very eager to help me.
Mrs. Zhang finished her work and came to join us. We talked about son and daughter’s love. More interesting is listening to several younger sisters artlessly talk about it. They make it sound like they have a lot of experience. Oh my goodness! They are all children around ten years old. It is ridiculous!
