What is life for?
Principal Fung and his family worship in the afternoon I the East Head Village of Kowloon City. Mr. Lee brought us around to an old people’s home church. I met a group of old people. They were all smiles but their hearts have unspeakable pain. Their Dean took us all over the place to see. Later, he introduced an 84 year old woman. It turned out that she was the head of the Alliance Bible Seminary Dean. I dare say she’s been Dean for about a few decades. Today, she is also in an old people’s home. What is life? Ten years of scenery pass in the blink of an eye. When Mr. Lee was at school, she was still a strong woman. Now she is at the end of her life. Her prosperity is in the past. It’s all lost today. In the past, she had a local reputation. What’s the value today?
