 The Kowloon Women’s Association preaching

 

              Last week, Ma Bilong asked me to come to their Women’s Association preaching so, unceremoniously, I agreed.  This morning at the prayer meeting, I happened to see a mention of the words I had spoken at the Kowloon City mixer and I suddenly remembered.  Forgetting would have been bad!  I wouldn’t have been prepared at all.  I got ready immediately then went to the Relief Society to have a look at the relief supplies with Ground Caifang.

 

              The Women’s Association meeting time is 3:30pm.  I didn’t leave until 3:00 and didn’t arrive until after 3:30.  By that time, Ma Bilong was very anxious and thought I wasn’t coming.  She was overjoyed to see me; happier than meeting her dearest friend!   Chen Huilin led the singing of hymns.  I said a few words I had prepared earlier this morning.  According to the Bible 19:1-81, True grace speaks.  I didn’t have much time to prepare, but there is always enough time to pray.  The effect is still fine.  

 

              After the sermon, Westerner Lan was moved to ask me my name and where I work and tell me how it made her feel.
