Virtuous Courtesy Bible study class
Chinese Rhenish church
Yesterday, I agreed to go with Mr. Qin to Kowloon to Virtuous Courtesy, an English Bible study class. I’m going to go tonight with Mr. Zhang Yongwei. Although I’ve been to the Rhenish church many times, this is the first time I’ve entered the auditorium. In the past, I had only gone downstairs to the office. Mr. Qin has been in this Bible study class for several years. I remember that, in 1952, I attended on of his Bible study classes on the Old Way. At that time, I didn’t understand it at all. Today, I understand maybe 1/3 of what I hear. By this time next year, maybe I’ll be able to understand 2/3.
Mr. Zhang and I drove to Tsim Sha Tsu pier. Since his Bible study class is two hours long, it was already 10:00 in the evening by the time we got back from Hong Kong. So it was a little late. Along the way, Mr. Zhang and I sat in the car and studied English the whole time. It was very interesting.
