March 23, 1956 - Eton English School Easy-to-Pass English Program

Eton English School Easy-to-Pass English Program

Ganjiun’s Chinese and English school has a lot of classes.  How many students are there?  After the morning prayer meeting, Mr. Cao went to his cram school.  He saw me coming.  When I saw some students, they were all eating.  It didn’t look like serious education.  Of course they can’t read!  Later, I went to a formally scheduled class at Eton’s Easy-to-Pass, a school which had been registered by the government.  I was there to hear them say that all the teachers were Westerners.  The class was entirely in English with no use of Chinese at all but, for the sake of time, I didn’t stay.

I need English and there are many times when I find it difficult.  I don’t think it would be for long after seeing the Easy-to-Pass program.  If you want to learn English well, you must go to such a school.  Make up your mind that you will go if you have a chance.  My plan is to go after three months if it works out.  I’ll continue to work hard in the meantime.
