April 29 1956 - It could become my lifelong objective

It could become my lifelong objective

Today, when Mr. Huang paid me, he told me to add 20 yuan.  Excluding subsidies that began in January, my salary is now subsidized for three months for a total of 260 yuan.  It's much more convenient!  This afternoon when I came back from buying a monthly pass, I arrived at Shanghai Street.  I bought two things at an antique store; an umbrella and a briefcase.  This is all for the sake of preaching.  The briefcase is very nice even though it was made by the craftsmen in Hong Kong.  The price was more than 50 yuan.  A leather designer told me that it can be bought for half the price abroad.  For preaching, a leather bag is indispensable: "the so-called good deeds must first be used". It's a bit expensive but I believe that, if nothing else, it's something I need for my life.

If there is money to buy things, you must buy the best you can afford.  Good quality things are not only more beautiful, but more durable as well.  It also reduces a lot of anger.  In the past, I used to get angry when I bought something of poor quality and it only lasted a short time so I try to minimize that now.  I just bought another pair of leather shoes, breaking the old record again.  The last pair was good.  This new pair is better.  I had them custom made.  These things are all blessings from God.  May all glory be upon Him!  Amen!
