Suffering Day joint worship at Mu Ai Hall

    About a month ago, Mr. Xi of the Anglican Pastoral Love Church and I talked about joint worship.  Later, five church families were united; the Chinese Anglican Pastoral Church, the Chinese Christian Church Chinese Chapel, the Kowloon Red Kan Lutheran Society, the Chinese Christian Church and the Hong Kong Baptist Church Chinese Chapel.  Delegates met to discuss the worship of Christ's suffering today.  

   The great service to commemorate Good Friday began at 11:00 at Shepherd's Church.  More than 300 people attended.  The chairman is Pastor Wang Changling of Mu'an Church.  The preaching was done by Dr. Penghu.  The party here was filled with an atmosphere of worship.    There are two delegates per class.  Huang Kanglong and I attended the conference until 12:00.  I felt very tired .  It was already 10:00 by the time I got back to the chapel.  

   I've heard that in pre-war Hong Kong that there was a joint worship every year on the Feast of Suffering.  It is only now getting started again after the war with a few Chinese churches in the Kowloon District.  Today was the first time in years and it was great!  Thank you Lord!  Because of his leadership, it was considered a success.  I believe that the number of participants and churches must increase next year.  Let the cross of the Lord be held high!
