Resurrection Conference at the South China Stadium
I got up at 7:00 this morning. Because the line at the bathroom was so long, I didn't get to wash my face until 7:30! By the time I got to the second floor, the people were already gone so I went to the third floor to hear hymns. Just then, Bao Wei also showed up. The two of us went to the Hong Kong ferry and met Miss Mary Chan. She was also waiting to make the crossing to South China. We arrived at 8:45am. The choir people came in one at a time. The conference began. Emotionally, it is not as tense as Dr. Cao Pieli's conference but it is just as solemn and quiet.
There were between 1000 and 2000 people attending the meeting. There might even have been 3-4000. Not a small number of people! We prayed to the Lord to lead us in the work of the annual meeting and in the future.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:30am. Because I hadn't been been there in a long time, Sogo and I visited all the friends I knew in the past. It was already 1:00pm when I got back.
