April 9, 1956 - A walking trip

 A walking trip

I got a good sleep this afternoon, then went out for a walk with Shea John.  This was the first time we have planned a trip to Lur San Dao in more than three months.  We left from Leming Village and climbed high into the mountains to He Man Tin and passed through downtown He Man Tin.  It took us more than an hour to reach Shanghai Street.  We returned the same way because I had to take a different route to pass by the home of Huang Youhua.  We went to her house, sat down for a while and met the members of the family at the same time.  She knew that her husband, Mr, Lin, did not yet believe in Jesus.  There were also children who did not yet believe.  I hope they will come to church often to hear the sermon and be told how wonderful God is, that he is the Lord who hears people's prayers.  It was already 5:30 pm by the time we left their home to find a new and convenient road.  We came back from the by way of Tianguang Road.  The road here is relatively flat and easy to walk.  I'd like to come back in the future.  It is a convenient road.   It was 6:00 when I passed through Mei Santong.  I went to the college student dormitory to check it out.  I stayed there for a long time.  I got home at exactly 7:00pm.  My walking trip took a total of about five hours.
