Science cannot answer the question of salvation
At 9:00 this evening, I walked to Mr. Bao Shangxi's house. The purpose was to tell Mr. Bao Wei about his studies but, instead, Mr. Bao talked about some truths. Let's start with the question of reading. Well then... We talked about philosophical theories, literature, religion and other things. Truths are philosophical speculations about theology. To him, the question of salvation (what he calls salvation) is all about peace in this life. He doesn't believe in the next life, saying that it is only a theological concept. This is completely wrong. He didn't understand the truth of Christ at all!
We talked very warmly. He spoke one sentence to me and we wound up talking until almost midnight. I was already sleepy and fading long before that. However, he continued to speak so I had to lift my spirits. When I got back, Mrs. Bao gave me a bag of roasted peanuts. She said that she had brought them from Shanghai. I've been eating them while writing this.
