A party at Pastor Shi Shi Ren's house
Pastor Shi is a Norwegian man who came to Hong Kong from South Korea last year (1953). He used to preach at the Great Ancient Bible College. I knew him then. I heard that he was born in China and moved to Norway at the age of 15. A few days ago, he came to sing in our choir. He offered us the chance to go to his house and sing. We went tonight. We set off at 7:00 from the choir. We got there at 8:20. After drinking tea, we started singing. Mrs. Shi accompanied us on the piano. John didn't get to play at all. Le Nan Nan accompanied soloist Le Chao Nan. They all asked me to sing. Oh my God! I've only been practicing the song for two days. How can I sing solo? Is this a joke? Finally, Pastor Shi turned out the lights and showed us picture slides. One was the Northern Lights. Another was the Great Supplement Bible College with our whole class in it.
The meeting adjourned after 9:00. Pastor Shi said he would like to have the opportunity to invite us back to his house for a second party. He drove us back to the Chapel.
