“Welcome to An Sineshi and National Conference tour”
Tonight we welcomed the new fellow workers. The brothers and sisters held a welcoming meeting in Hun King Hall and the North Chapel. There were two church groups from Spain singing at the tea party program. Priest Ah is an American who was one of the first to come to China. He later returned home and handed over his work to Pastor Yong. Today, another priest returned home and will be replaced by a Xiang priest. The new Xiang priest is young and has a nice face. He has a wife and three girls. Si, another of the new priests is from Norway. He is also young and came to Hong Kong with his family. Miss He is an old woman from Denmark. She is not a member of this council. She is a free preacher. In the past, she also had young priests as classmates and studied Chinese in Beijing. They helped with the work of the council today but they have been back home for a long time and don’t speak Chinese. They will learn. Pastor Xing had another Chinese sermon to preach tonight. It wasn’t good but it was understandable. Priest Si said a few words in Chinese first and then, later, in English.
