Spreading the Gospel
Today I officially started the work that I spent many years preparing for, which is spreading the gospel. Praise the Lord, that He opened this door for me as a minister. Sunday morning's service, our church started with a baptism group. Adults __ number, Children __ number. The one who was in charge of the meeting was a full time minister named John Tse. Starting from today, I will be shouldering up a great deal of responsibility in terms of pastoral care. In the afternoon, the Sunday service at Dao Chun high school, originally John Tse was supposed to be the preacher, but the Lord, today, allowed me to preach for the first time. And praise the Lord that my first time preaching felt satisfactory. So every person who was listening also felt different. After the service, along the big road, I returned home with Mr. Li and his children and John Tse, walking. The evening session is the New Spring evangelical meeting. The participants were few, probably because it was raining. After the service, I thought a lot about the work of preaching the Gospel. I still had uneasiness and fears in my heart. By the time I get back to the dormitory, it's already 11 pm. Mr. Tse told me I would be the first to speak at tomorrow's evangelical meeting. When I heard of the news, I felt uneasy because time was very short - not enough for preparation and prayer. And I did not sleep well the whole night because I felt the responsibility of carrying out the task of welcoming newcomers.
