Jan, 9, 1956 - In the midst of a cold front

It's rare for Hong Kong to experience weather like this. Today it seemed to be even colder. Because last night of Mr. Wang's got sick. It's probably due to lack of clothes, so I plan to give him the little jacket that I have as a gift. For this reason, I spent the whole morning . Right around noon, I was able to deliver the jacket to him. And right after lunch, I went to visit Mrs. Zhang. I saw her lying on her bed but well-spirited. So we talked for a good two hours. I was really tired, indeed. When I returned to my dorm, I took a long nap until dinner. And normally, Monday is a day of rest for ministers. And because of the cold weather, I rested that day. In the evening, I took the train to my music class. In addition to vocal lessons, I learned to play the piano. The whole thing lasted for about an hour, and it was very arduous (xing ku) . When I coming back on foot, walking along the evening streets, I felt like the street lamps were also afraid of the cold, as though they didn't want to see people. Even though there were others around, as I was was walking, I practiced singing. And my heart was filled with joy. Those who don't know me probably thought I was crazy. And I went like this all the way back to the church.
