Jan. 14 ,1956 - First Time Participating at a Co-workers Prayer Meeting at Hong Kong Xin Yi
Mr. Li and I went to Bai Tian Village in Xia Tian at around 9:30 am to participate in a joint prayer meeting at Xin Yi seminary. Many different churches participated, a total of about 50 people were there. This is probably the most attended meeting ever. My own classmates accounted for 8 of them. Lunch was hosted by Mr. Peng. Afterward, there were some games played. In the meeting, I felt the prayer was not enough, as though the value of the prayer meeting was lost. At 2:00 the meeting adjourned, and I had to rush back for another prayer meeting at 3:00. Because of a delay at the train station, I came back after 3:00 and accompanying me were three other brothers. There were 4 of us lively young adults . [the following section was kind of hard for James to understand, so we'll translate it word for word] It was funny that when we arrived at Tsim Tsa Tsui station we had bought 3 tickets. We got off. While we were waiting for they train they got into a another train, sat a little while, then got off to walk. What was even funnier was that when they arrived at a public bathroom, they sat inside to take a look because [they're something strange about the bathroom], and these three friends , two of them are teachers, and one is a 2nd year seminary student. It's like all the brothers in Christ are like little kids.
